On Thursday we celebrated Beckett's 2nd Birthday! It's hard to believe it's already been 2 years since he came into this world, but we're sure glad he did. Here are a few pictures from his 2-year shoot and also an update on what he's been loving lately.
As he is now two, he figured he should start acting the part--and he's excited that he can now identify 20 letters.
A-B-E-F-H-I-L-M-N-O-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-and-Z.
He can count all the way to ten, but if he's feeling a little lazy we hear 1-2-7-8-9-10.
His favorite past time is sitting on the computer in front of an open word document, identifying letters on the keyboard, and then typing them and seeing them on the screen. He gets pretty enthusiastic about
it, and will sometimes even shout the letters in his excitement.
Super Why is still his favorite TV show, and when identifying letters on billboards, store windows etc. he often refers to the letter Y as Super Y.
He loves blueberries and calls them grapes.
He's currently developed an aversion to anything small that he can't identify. The other day he was sitting in his high chair and suddenly got really nervous-pointing to something on the floor. I finally interpreted that he was saying 'little bug' over and over with concern. I didn't even realize he knew what bugs were.
Oh, and it was a piece of lint.
He loves his cars and is content with 2 or 3 or 4 of them in his hands at one time (as shown in these pictures)

happy birthday...belated...I had to laugh, he looks like Scoty with Thomas and McQueen in his hands...that is a regular scene around here! he is smart...way to go Linds!

love it! he really is such a great little guy. it was fun getting to be around him the other night, he really is just precious! and fyi porter asked me the other day if beckett was coming over. yes, he even called him by name!!!!

Cute pictures. I can't believe he is already two. He is getting so big and is such a cutie. We wish we could see you guys more or ever :) I love that he loves letters, what a cute stage he is at. Hope the pregnancy is going well.
